💻 Requires DT-1000 Terminal

Portals 95 is designed to run on the DT-1000 terminal manufactured by Terminal Dynamics. Your floppy disk is loaded into the terminal's Soul Drive and the desktop environment boots from there.

💡 Installation: Insert your Portals 95 floppy into Drive A:, then type startx at the terminal prompt. The desktop will initialize automatically. It takes about 4 seconds. We timed it. We are very proud.
📄 License Agreement

By downloading Portals 95, you agree to the MicroSoul Corp End-User License Agreement. The full agreement is 247 pages and covers topics including but not limited to: software usage, soul data handling, terminal operation guidelines, entropy liability waivers, and soul custody provisions.

Of particular note is Section 47.3 ("Soul Custody During System Idle"), which describes the conditions under which MicroSoul Corp may access, inspect, reorganize, or otherwise interact with soul data stored on Portals 95 volumes during periods of terminal inactivity. This section has been reviewed by our legal department and is considered "technically compliant with all applicable soul commerce regulations."
